The Kodiak Brown Bear is the largest land based meat eater in the world. These magnificent animals grow so big because of the abundance of salmon that return to the Archipelago year after year; there is a tremendous amount of easily accessible food. Located in the middle of bear country we hunt the Raspberry Island/South West Afognak Island management area. Nonresidents of Alaska are required to hire a guide.
